An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified finance professional to join a large, international organisation in a high-profile Group Finance role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operating beyond traditional financial reporting. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across an international business, combining business partnering, financial control, planning and analysis with exposure to group-wide projects and continuous improvement.
The position offers considerable visibility across the organisation and would suit an ambitious individual looking to build their experience within a complex multinational environment.
The Role
Reporting into a senior finance leader, you will take responsibility for a broad range of Group and business controlling activities, including:
- Acting as Finance Business Partner to senior functional leaders, providing financial insight, challenge and decision support.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting across several central functions.
- Reviewing monthly performance, investigating variances and ensuring expenditure remains appropriately controlled.
- Taking ownership of elements of the month-end close and Group reporting process.
- Working with finance teams across multiple locations to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Overseeing the financial treatment and allocation of central and corporate costs.
- Providing analysis and commercial insight to support senior management decision-making.
- Supporting the development of more effective reporting, planning and forecasting processes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and cost management across the organisation.
- Contributing to benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting and leading finance-related projects across different business units and operational locations.
- Working collaboratively with finance, operational and corporate teams across an international structure.

About You
We are looking for a qualified accountant who combines strong technical finance knowledge with the confidence to operate as a genuine business partner.
Ideally, you will have:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong post-qualified experience within a commercial, manufacturing, Group or corporate finance environment.
- Previous experience working within a multinational or complex multi-entity organisation.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and analytical skills.
- A good understanding of accounting standards and financial controls.
- Experience partnering senior stakeholders and presenting financial information clearly.
- Exposure to change, transformation or process improvement.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Experience of ERP, consolidation or BI systems would be advantageous.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurately to demanding deadlines.

You’ll be commercially minded, naturally inquisitive and comfortable challenging the numbers rather than simply reporting them. Equally important will be your ability to build relationships at all levels, from senior leadership through to operational teams.
