About The Role
Monks is looking for a Senior Group ESG Reporting Lead. You will drive the accurate and timely reporting of ESG data from across the Group, which feeds the Group’s ESG strategy and Net Zero aims. You will interact with people across the Globe at all levels who provide ESG information to manage the collection of the data. Additionally, this role will also allow you to be involved with the implementation of an ESG reporting tool.
As the Senior Group ESG Reporting Lead, you will support the Group Reporting and ESG teams with external audits and assurance in the Group’s Annual Report. You will provide support in the development and maintenance of the Group’s ESG policies in line with current and emerging sustainability standards and embedding those policies across the Group. The right person will be highly numerate and analytical with a keen eye for detail and ability to see the bigger picture and link to the Group’s ESG strategy.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely collection of ESG data from across the Group in accordance with sustainability standards and relevant statutory requirements.
- Support the ESG team with driving the Group’s ESG strategy through providing accurate data.
- Support the Reporting and ESG team with the implementation of an ESG reporting tool, alongside the framework to govern the timely collection of various data points.
- Supporting the ESG and Reporting team in identifying any data gaps and determining appropriate solutions to meet reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collate financial and non-financial data for ESG reporting.
- Support the Reporting and ESG team with external auditors/ assurance providers.
- Collaborating with the Group Reporting team on the preparation of information for the Annual Report.
- Working with external advisors on evolving ESG standards, implementing policies, and ensuring emerging ESG reporting practices and sustainable practices, which ultimately drive the Group’s ESG strategy.

About You
The essentials:
- Experience of ESG assurance and/ or reporting.
- Knowledge of ESG standards, frameworks and regulations including TCFD, CSRD and SASB.
- Experience in CDP and EcoVadis submissions.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to driving positive change through ESG practices.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with Local and Global finance and non-finance teams.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant industry experience an advantage.
