Senior Group Financial Accountant
London | Hybrid Working
Permanent
Salary Banding: £90k to £110k per annum (dependent on experience)
Looking for a role where you can combine technical accounting expertise with finance transformation and process improvement?
We're partnering with a leading international financial services business to appoint a Senior Group Accountant to its Group Finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of Group reporting activities while helping drive continuous improvement across a complex, multinational environment.
The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality Group financial reporting, working closely with senior finance stakeholders across the business and ensuring reporting requirements are met to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidated reporting
- Supporting statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Ensuring a strong financial controls framework is maintained and enhanced
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business
- Driving process improvements, automation and reporting efficiencies
- Supporting finance transformation and change initiatives
- Working closely with auditors and other external stakeholders
About You
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with:
- Strong Group Reporting and consolidation experience
- Excellent IFRS technical accounting knowledge
- A background within financial services, ideally insurance
- Experience operating within a robust financial controls environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An ability to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders
- Experience delivering process improvements and driving change
- Exposure to consolidation/reporting systems such as Oracle would be advantageous
