We're looking for a Senior Group Leader - Paint Operations to join our Manufacturing Operations team at Gaydon, leading from the front and helping to shape a high-performing culture where people, quality, and operational excellence thrive together.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who is passionate about developing people and driving performance. You'll take ownership of a critical area of our operation, empowering your team to achieve ambitious quality, volume, and cost targets while creating an environment where continuous improvement is part of everyday working life.
As a leader within the business, you'll be responsible for:
- Planning and coordinating manufacturing activities
- Ensuring your area has the people, materials, and equipment needed to consistently deliver exceptional results
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
- Creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and collaboration
- Supporting the next generation of talent to reach their full potential

Success in this role will require:
- A strong background in manufacturing operations
- Proven experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced production environment
- Confidence in motivating others, managing priorities, and maintaining high standards across safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Experience of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, continuous improvement tools, and problem-solving techniques
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort using business systems and Microsoft Office applications to support operational performance and decision-making
