Senior Finance Manager — Listed Investment Holding Platform - PE/VC

We're partnering with a leading investment management firm, spanning Private Equity, Venture Capital and a publicly listed Holding Company, with a multi-billion dollar portfolio across financial services, technology, infrastructure and consumer sectors, to find a Senior Finance Manager for their Corporate Accounting team in London.

This is a technically rich, high-visibility role for a qualified accountant who wants primary ownership of external financial reporting for a publicly listed entity, direct exposure to the CFO and Audit Committee, and a clear path to Head of Finance.

Reporting to: Finance Director

Direct reports: Initial 2, with requirement to hire 2 more

What you'll own:

📊 External Financial Reporting

  • Preparation and review of the listed holding company's IFRS financial statements — consolidated and entity-level balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and notes
  • End-to-end quarterly/annual reporting cycle: close timetable, journal review, consolidation adjustments, Board and stock exchange filing deadlines
  • MD&A drafting alongside the CFO and Head of Finance
  • Ownership of Group IFRS accounting policy — tracking and assessing new standards (IFRS 9, 10, 13, 16, 17 where applicable)
  • Technical accounting position papers for new transactions, investments and structures

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
