About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Group Travel Consultant to join our Group UK Travel Team. As a key member of the BCD M&E team, you will manage travel arrangements for customers attending events, working closely with internal Project Managers as well as clients directly. This will include group travel bookings, individual travel coordination, ticketing, reporting, reconciliations and project support across a variety of events and client programmes.
Do you have experience from a professional travel environment and be confident managing several projects at the same time? Are you comfortable working independently, while also partnering effectively with colleagues, clients and travellers to deliver excellent service?

As a Senior Travel Consultant, You Will
- Manage end-to-end group and individual travel bookings, including ticketing, changes, refunds, exchanges and reconciliations
- Support internal Project Managers, clients and attendees with travel requirements across multiple events and programmes
- Use GDS systems and supplier relationships to secure the best travel solutions while meeting client policies and timelines
- Maintain accurate travel trackers, reporting and event documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide high-quality customer service to clients, travellers and external stakeholders, including Healthcare Professionals where applicable
You’re Good At
- Managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced travel environment
- Building strong working relationships with clients, travellers, suppliers and internal teams
- Communicating clearly and professionally, both written and verbally
- Working accurately with strong attention to detail and a structured approach
- Solving problems quickly and staying calm under pressure
You Might Also Have
- Experience using a GDS, preferably Sabre
- Group travel booking and ticketing experience
- Knowledge of event technology platforms
You Should Know
- This is a UK remote role with time spent occasionally in local BCD office
- Our standard working hours are 09.00 - 17.30 with an hour break
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas
