Why we're hiring:

We're looking for an experienced Treasury Systems leader to shape and deliver the future of Treasury technology at WPP.

Reporting into Group Treasury, you'll lead the management, optimisation, and transformation of our global treasury systems landscape, supporting the delivery of Elevate28, WPP's strategic transformation programme. You'll work across Treasury, Finance, Technology, regional teams, and external partners to drive automation, improve controls, enhance reporting, and deliver major system initiatives.

The role will oversee cross-regional transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery of complex system and process changes while managing risks, dependencies, resources, and key stakeholder decisions. You will also play a pivotal role in Treasury Systems governance, leading change request management, supporting Steering Committee activities, and helping shape the future operating model of the Treasury function.

This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to influence the future operating model of Treasury Systems at a global scale while leading a team based in Bengaluru.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the Treasury Systems strategy, roadmap, and transformation agenda, driving the optimisation and enhancement of Treasury technology across a global organisation.
  • Deliver large-scale transformation initiatives, including system upgrades, automation, integrations, data governance, and process standardisation.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to testing, implementation, governance, and post-go-live support.
  • Partner closely with Treasury, Finance, IT, banking partners, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Act as the key liaison between Treasury and technology teams, translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Manage Treasury systems governance, service delivery, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain a robust control environment, ensuring systems, processes, and data align with governance and risk management requirements.
  • Champion innovation by leveraging automation, analytics, and AI-driven solutions to enhance treasury processes and decision-making.
  • Drive improvements in data quality, reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business insight.
  • Support strategic cash management, liquidity, and treasury transformation initiatives on a global scale.
  • Develop and embed scalable support models, processes, and best practices to enable efficient and effective Treasury operations worldwide.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to improve Treasury capabilities and operational performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
