We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded and passionate Senior Events & Groups Manager to join our dynamic Central London Marriott Cluster team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across five iconic London Marriott hotels, delivering exceptional events and group experiences while helping shape the future of one of the capital's leading hospitality clusters.

What You'll Be Doing
Drive Sales Success
- Manage large-scale, high-profile and VIP event enquiries from enquiry through to post-event follow up.
- Deliver engaging client presentations, show rounds and discovery calls that convert business.
- Collaborate with operational teams to create exceptional event experiences that exceed expectations.
- Support the cluster's strategic sales objectives and maximize conversion opportunities.
Bring Events to Life
- Oversee group accommodation blocks, meeting space inventory and event logistics.
- Lead the coordination of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and act as the key link between Sales and Operations.
- Ensure every event is flawlessly planned and executed while maintaining Marriott brand standards.
Inspire and Develop Others
- Coach, mentor and support team members to achieve their full potential.
- Lead by example, creating a positive, high-performance culture.
- Support cluster initiatives, promotional campaigns and team engagement activities.

Own the Numbers
- Manage deposits, commissions, credit requests and event-related financial processes.
- Support forecasting and revenue management activities.
- Contribute to commercial discussions and identify opportunities to optimise revenue performance.
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Build strong client relationships at every touchpoint.
- Lead pre-event planning and post-event reviews.
- Continuously identify ways to elevate service standards and create memorable experiences for guests and clients.

- Experienced in group and event sales within a hotel environment.
- Commercially focused with strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities.
- A natural relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
