Build the digital growth engine behind Novacyt’s next phase of growth
Are you a commercially minded digital growth leader with a passion for customer acquisition, e-commerce, data, automation and AI?
We’re looking for someone who can turn customer insight into effective growth programmes, connecting marketing activity directly to pipeline and revenue. You’ll help attract new customers, improve conversion, reactivate existing customers and increase customer value across Novacyt’s portfolio.
About the role
You’ll lead our digital growth strategy across priority markets and portfolios, including Clinical Genetics, Surveillance, Primerdesign and Ranger. A key priority will be accelerating Primerdesign’s e-commerce growth by attracting new online customers and improving the digital buying journey.
Working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations and Commercial Operations, you’ll identify opportunities across the customer lifecycle and build scalable programmes that deliver measurable commercial results.
What you’ll do
- Drive customer acquisition: Develop digital demand generation and account-based marketing programmes that attract priority customers, improve conversion and generate qualified pipeline.
- Grow customer value: Use customer behaviour, purchasing patterns and engagement data to build targeted segments, reactivate dormant customers and identify cross-sell, upsell and product-bundling opportunities.
- Accelerate e-commerce: Increase qualified traffic, attract new online customers, improve website and webshop conversion, reduce basket abandonment and grow average order value and repeat purchases.
- Build automated customer journeys: Develop lead-nurturing, onboarding, retention and reactivation programmes, improving lead scoring and progression from marketing-qualified to sales-qualified leads.
- Turn data into action: Own growth dashboards and funnel reporting, measuring attribution, ROI, customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value and pipeline velocity.
- Lead AI-enabled growth: Develop our AI marketing roadmap and introduce approved workflows that improve segmentation, personalisation, customer engagement and productivity.
- Test and optimise: Run experiments across campaigns, channels and customer journeys, using results to refine performance and prioritise investment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
