Altima
Altima is a specialist CFO search firm, based in London. Over the last 20 + years, we’ve moved hundreds of finance leaders into some of the highest-performing tech businesses across Europe and the US.
The Senior Growth Executive
The Senior Growth Executive sits across Partnerships and Sales, playing a central role in originating new business opportunities and driving Altima's partner network of VC and PE funds across Europe. This is a high-ownership position, operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, contributing directly to revenue growth, market expansion, and the strength of Altima's brand and partner network.
Accountabilities
- You will be our eyes and ears across the European technology ecosystem: new raises, M&A activity, senior finance moves and new fund closes, with responsibility for getting that intelligence to the right people in the firm.
- You will drive lead generation strategy and execution: mapping target clients and crafting email outreach campaigns, leaning on our extensive partner network to get our Partners in front of the right decision-makers.
- You will own the pipeline across all revenue-generating Partners at Altima, particularly our CEO’s pipeline, responsible for overall pipeline health, making sure agreed actions are executed swiftly, and contributing meaningfully to the firm's revenue goals.
- You will produce high-quality client proposals and custom pitch materials for business development that help us win new work.
- You will grow and maintain our investor fund partner network through intentional expansion strategies and engagement initiatives to maintain and build on our current relationships.
Experience
We’re open to hearing from people with different experience across sales, partnerships and marketing, who are confident in working towards meaningful revenue targets. This is a high-ownership role; we’re looking for someone who can move the dial from day one, so this isn’t an entry-level position.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You might not have worked in search before, but experience working in the tech industry, or for a company providing services to startups or scaleups is a must. This is because you will live in the news cycle of our sector, responsible for spotting revenue opportunities for the firm and acting on them.
Wherever you’ve worked, we’re looking for someone with great commercial instincts, who has worked as part of a team that owns overall revenue targets and originated new business.

AI-powered processes (nice to have)
- AI literacy is a bonus. We use Claude across the business, and you will be part of embedding responsible AI use into the growth function, so we move faster without losing quality.
Human skills
- Strong commercial acumen - You get sales and lead generation. You understand how a pipeline works, what it takes to win work, and you are driven by momentum and hitting targets.
- Bias to action - Comfortable holding senior colleagues to agreed actions and chasing things through to close. Strong organisation skills will be key in this role.
- Obsessed with the tech ecosystem - Genuinely interested in who is raising, who is buying whom, and who is moving where. You read this because you want to, not because you’re told to.
- Confident building a rapport with senior colleagues - This role is cross-functional. You want to work with senior people in our firm and can handle your own.
- Systems thinker - Sees the process behind the task. Would rather fix the workflow than keep doing the workaround. Bonus points if you are starting to use AI in your day-to-day.
- Clear communicator - Writes and speaks with precision. Can flex tone across a fund partner, a founder and an internal update without losing substance.
- Low ego, high ownership - Happy to do the unglamorous work that makes the growth function run, and equally happy to take the lead on something new.
Benefits
- Flexible hybrid working pattern, trusted to get your work done wherever you are.
- Join a collaborative team that values knowledge and humility.
- Clear development pathways.
- Competitive benefits including commission+ bonus scheme, 28 days' annual leave + bank holidays, private health insurance, L&D budget, gym membership, and more.
