Role Description

DriveSimple helps growing businesses and tradespeople get vans without the financial risk and long lock-ins of traditional leasing. Until now the choice was an expensive short-term rental or a restrictive four-year lease. We built a third option: flexible van subscription. Contracts start at six months, with no deposit and easy cancellation. One fixed monthly cost covers servicing, maintenance, tax and tyres. Our mission is to help businesses and sole traders get the vans they need to grow, on their terms.

The demand is there. We have not yet built the marketing engine to meet it. That is your job. You design the playbook, decide where we compete and run your own experiments. You report to the CEO, who backs you to change whatever slows growth. You start with a product customers love, a working funnel with mapped leaks, an efficient paid-search channel, a HubSpot CRM in mid-redesign and an experienced sales team beside you.

What will you do:

  • Own how we win customers, from first click to qualified application. You carry lead volume, cost per acquisition and conversion at every marketing stage.
  • Set the marketing strategy. Plan the campaigns, choose the channels, define our positioning, and measure the return from each.
  • Build the growth engine. Today we lean on paid search. You decide which channels take us further and prove them with a ring-fenced test budget.
  • Know the market better than anyone here. Segment our customers, study the competition and spot where mobility and subscription are heading before it shows up in the numbers.
  • Sharpen how we position DriveSimple to tradespeople, small businesses, fleet operators and couriers, and put each of them in front of a page built to convert.
  • Work hand in hand with sales. Tie every campaign to revenue goals, feed the pipeline with qualified leads and lift conversion together.
  • Communicate clearly on the page and in the room. Tailor the message to the audience, whether that is a sole trader, a fleet buyer or the board.
  • Run HubSpot and analytics as the single source of truth for marketing. Give the CEO attribution, cohorts and numbers he can act on.
  • Close the funnel leaks. Test landing pages, messaging and how we present price until visitor-to-lead and lead-to-application climb.
  • Manage the agency and any specialists. Decide what we build in-house and stretch a lean budget.
  • Bring results with numbers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Hands-on HubSpot and analytics. You run marketing from the data and manage to a cost per acquisition.
  • Full proficiency with AI tools. You use them daily to research, draft, analyse and automate, and you build workflows around them.
