The short version

The whole marketing engine, owned by one very capable marketer with AI agents doing the work that used to take a department. Website, content, GEO/SEO, email and paid: you run all of it, hands on the tools, with a real voice in what we do. No team to manage. No queue to wait in.

About Level

Level is the UK's leading specialist lender for family law and probate proceedings. During a divorce or while an estate is being settled, assets are often held in one party's name, which can leave the other side unable to fund proper representation or to cover the costs of getting probate done. We lend against those situations so that solicitors and their clients can proceed on a level footing.

Ten years in, we are profitable, we lead our main market, and we still work like a startup.

Why this role exists

Our founder built the business on a genuinely useful product and on relationships with law firms that competitors have not matched. A Chief Growth Officer joined this summer, a serial startup founder himself, to build the growth function alongside him.

The bet is simple: one excellent marketer, armed with agents and the freedom to use them, now covers ground that used to need several people. We are building the role around that person rather than around headcount.

What you would own

  • The website. We are rebuilding it on a modern stack so you can ship landing pages and content without waiting on a developer. Once it is live, it is yours to run.
  • Content and organic search. Case studies, guides and education aimed at solicitors and at their clients, produced by you with an AI writing system rather than by a copywriter. SEO/GEO visibility matters, including inside AI search tools, where our buyers increasingly start. We know you’ve succeeded when we win on every prompt and keywords against competitors.
  • Lifecycle email. The sequences each audience receives: education for people who are not ready yet, introductions between our products, and re-engagement for the ones who go quiet. Built by you, run by your systems.
  • Partner education. Cold outreach to all verticals in our space to introduce, educate and interest them in our services. And regular case studies and education to the firms we already work with is the most efficient marketing available to us.
  • A product almost nobody has marketed. One of our products has barely been marketed, and the demand is sitting there. Getting it understood is a proper piece of marketing work, and it is yours from day one.
  • Paid acquisition, run and scaled against the cost of a funded loan.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The brief

Come in and get every part of marketing firing. We are past producing one case study at a time: we want systems and agents that compound, so that by month six the marketing engine runs on things you built and gets better every week. You decide the order. You will have the CGO alongside you and the freedom to experiment fast.

What we are looking for

  • Someone at the learning edge of AI. The kind of person who is on X when a new model or marketing tool drops and has it working in the business that week. Someone who has personally run these channels rather than briefed agencies to run them, and who has already replaced a good chunk of a marketing team's output with agents and systems they can show us rather than describe. AI-native, not just AI-aware.
  • Someone who does not care about having a team. You care about getting stuff done, and about the freedom to build, test and kill things quickly instead of pushing work through a slow corporate machine.
  • Financial services or regulated marketing experience is a nice-to-have at most. It is learnable in weeks and we will teach you. Compliance signs off anything that counts as a financial promotion, so you never carry that risk alone. Everything else moves at your speed.

How to apply

Send to ian@thelevelgroup.co.uk

  • Your CV.
  • A short answer to one question: how AI does the work in your week now. One specific example of something that used to take a team and now takes you.
  • Examples of what you have built, personal or work. Links, screenshots, a repo or a report all work. Built beats described.

We read the answer and the examples before the CV. No cover letter needed.

We run a speedy process and expect days between stages, not weeks. August is holiday season here and we will still make time for people worth talking to.

Closing date: 30th Sep 2026

Package

  • £85,000 to £105,000, with headroom above that for an exceptional candidate

  • Private medical cover
  • 25 days' annual leave plus your birthday off
  • Financial support to set up your home office
  • London office two days a week, flexible for the right person

How we work

  • Small teams, one clear owner for each thing
  • Direct feedback
  • Decisions made quickly then revisited when the evidence changes

Level is an equal opportunities employer. If this role excites you but you do not tick every box, apply anyway and show us what you have built.
