Senior Growth Marketing Manager

Reporting to COO, with a line to CEO

Salary – £55,000 - £60,000 plus up to 10% bonus

Role Purpose

Accelerate profitable consumer growth across digital channels. The role sits at the intersection of marketing, e-commerce, creative, and data, turning commercial targets into an integrated plan across paid acquisition, affiliates, CRM, and retention.

Growth Strategy and Commercial Delivery

  • Build annual and quarterly digital growth plans aligned with revenue, margin, and customer targets.
  • Translate forecasts into channel, audience, campaign, and investment plans.
  • Balance short-term trading performance with sustainable customer and brand growth.
  • Identify opportunities and risks across acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer value.

Paid Acquisition and Agency Management

  • Own paid performance across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels.
  • Set budgets, KPIs, and testing priorities and hold external agencies accountable.
  • Independently interrogate channel, audience, bidding, and creative recommendations.
  • Detect deterioration, tracking discrepancies, and forecast risk early.
  • Develop a structured test roadmap across audiences, creative, landing pages, offers, and media mix.

Affiliates and Partnerships

  • Own the affiliate programme, partner recruitment, commission structures, and commercial governance.
  • Measure incrementality and prevent uncontrolled discount or voucher activity.
  • Own whitelisting and paid amplification mechanics.
  • Partner with Brand on creator credibility, brand suitability, and message consistency.

D2C, CRM, and Retention

  • Improve traffic quality, average order value, and revenue per session.
  • Partner with CRM to grow repeat purchase, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Develop welcome, replenishment, cross-sell, reactivation, and lapsed-customer strategies.

Measurement and Insight

  • Create one trusted view of CAC, CPA, ROAS, MER, conversion, AOV, repeat rate, LTV, and contribution.
  • Reconcile platform reporting with Shopify, GA4, and financial performance.
  • Separate attributed revenue from genuinely incremental growth.
  • Produce concise weekly reporting: what happened, why it happened, and what action is required.
  • Translate performance data into actionable creative requirements for Brand and Production.

Candidate Profile

  • Six or more years in growth, performance, or digital marketing, ideally D2C beauty or wellness.
  • Evidence of delivering measurable, profitable e-commerce growth.
  • Strong Meta, Google, agency management, Shopify, GA4, and attribution capability.
  • Commercial understanding of margin, contribution, promotions, and forecasting.
  • Able to connect media, website, CRM, sales, and finance data and challenge received explanations.

Success Measures

  • Profitable D2C net-sales growth, contribution, and marketing efficiency.
  • CAC and CPA within target; improved conversion, AOV, retention, and LTV.
  • Faster identification and correction of performance issues.
  • A transparent, trusted view of performance and forecast risk.
  • More accountable and effective agency delivery.
