Senior Growth Marketing Manager
£55,000 + benefits | SW London | Hybrid | 10-month fixed-term contract
D2C / Ecommerce
Are you a commercially minded Growth Marketing professional who loves the challenge of bringing in new customers and finding smarter ways to grow?
Our client is an exciting, purpose-led D2C online consumer brand who are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead for a 10-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established in-house marketing team at an exciting time of growth and play a key role in shaping and delivering their customer acquisition strategy.
You’ll lead a small team of 2, work across a broad mix of acquisition channels and collaborate closely with creative, digital, data and agency partners to keep customer growth moving forward.
The Role:
Reporting into the Marketing leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the new customer acquisition agenda, combining strategic thinking with hands-on campaign leadership.
You’ll be responsible for a broad mix of channels including:
- PPC / paid search
- Website conversion and CRO
- Outbound calling
- Direct Mail / Door Drop and print
- Affiliate marketing
- Referrals
- SEO
You’ll oversee performance, budgets and optimisation, using data and insight to identify opportunities, test new approaches and continually improve customer acquisition. This is a role for someone who can zoom out and see the bigger picture, while still understanding the detail behind performance marketing. You don’t need to be a technical PPC specialist — there is already strong channel expertise within the team — but you should be confident understanding PPC performance, asking the right questions and helping shape the wider acquisition strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ll also lead and develop a team of two Marketing Channel Owners, providing support, coaching and direction while helping them build confidence and develop their expertise. The team works within a collaborative squad/scrum agile structure, so you’ll be someone who enjoys bringing people together, sharing ideas and solving problems collectively rather than operating in a silo.
You’ll also work closely with an in-house creative team and a number of agency partners across areas including outbound calling, affiliate, ATL and Door Drop.
Skill-Set:
We’re looking for someone with a genuine customer growth and acquisition mindset who can demonstrate:
- Experience in D2C, ecommerce or another consumer-focused environment

- A strong commercial and performance-led approach, with confidence working with budgets, reporting and ROI
- Experience managing agencies and external partners
- The ability to turn data and insight into clear recommendations and action
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A collaborative, supportive leadership style - with a genuine interest in coaching and building confidence in others

You don’t need experience across every channel. The client is much more interested in your ability to think commercially about customer growth, understand acquisition strategy and get the best from a team.
Experience across outbound/direct marketing would be particularly interesting, as would stronger PPC experience — but neither is essential if you have the right overall acquisition background.
Why Apply?
This is a great opportunity to join a purpose-led, values-driven consumer business with a strong in-house marketing function and a genuinely broad acquisition remit. You’ll have the opportunity to work across strategy, campaigns, data, creative and agencies, while leading a talented team and making a tangible impact on new customer growth.

- £55,000 salary (pro-rata)
- 10-month fixed-term contract
- Hybrid working – team day Thursday + one additional office day

- 33 days holiday including bank holidays (pro-rata)
