Senior Electronics Design Engineer - For the Engineer Who'd Rather Be at the Bench
A well-established UK electronics design house, part of a larger European manufacturing group, is hiring for its hardest hardware design work. Projects span Automotive, Defence & Aerospace, Medical, Space and more.
This is a design role, full stop. If your idea of a good week involves solving the genuinely difficult circuit problem rather than managing the plan around it, read on.

What you'll be doing:
- Owning the technical design of the hardware you're handed - architecture to proven, manufacturable product
- Circuit design, component selection, worst-case analysis and simulation
- Setting constraints and guiding PCB layout engineers through the process
- Board bring-up, test, measurement and fault finding - hands-on, in the lab
- Design for manufacture, test and EMC/safety compliance
- Defending your design decisions in front of clients and in design reviews

What you'll bring:
- Strong track record as the responsible design engineer, concept to production
- Confidence working autonomously with minimal supervision
- Mixed analogue/digital design with microcontrollers
- Altium schematic capture
- Comfortable in the lab - bring-up, measurement, fault finding on your own work
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC)
