Senior Health & Safety Consultant
MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Health & Safety Consultant for our client, a leading Health & Safety Consultancy operating across Ireland, the UK and Europe. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced H&S/HSEQ professional with strong construction, management systems and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior H&S consultancy across large-scale construction projects.
- Support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain HSEQ management systems.
- Manage ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 systems and audits.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
- Review RAMS, contractor controls and project documentation.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Manage, mentor and develop H&S professionals.
- Manage multiple projects, client relationships and senior stakeholders.
- Produce technical reports, policies and management plans.
- Support the continued growth of the consultancy.

Requirements
- Strong H&S experience on large-scale construction projects.
- Senior H&S, HSEQ, SHEQ or consultancy experience.
- Experience developing and implementing management systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.
- Previous team leadership/management experience.
- Strong audit, risk assessment and compliance experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of NI, ROI and UK H&S legislation.
- NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
- CMIOSH or working towards Chartered status.
- ISO Auditor/Lead Auditor qualification desirable.
- Full driving licence.
