NHS Highland is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker to join our integrated Care at Home service in Caithness.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a support worker to support individuals in their own homes to provide holistic care.
Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. You will:
- Provide high-quality care and personal-centred support to individuals in their own homes
- Assist with personal care, medication support, continence care, nutrition & fluid, skincare, mobility support
- Support service users to maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Work closely with nurses, social workers, and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation
- Follow all NHS Highland policies and safeguarding procedures

- A strong team player with the ability to support and guide others
- Well organised, with good communication and problem-solving skills

Essential Criteria
- Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
- Understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel expenses available)

Set shifts of 8:30am 2:30pm, 4 days on, 4 days off.
