Ready to lead health economic modelling projects that influence healthcare decision-making and patient access to innovative treatments?

R&D Partners are collaborating with a truly specialist growing HEOR Consultancy who are searching for a Senior Consultant, Health Economics.

The business are a modern consultancy having been established by two renowned industry leaders and have been very successful since inception. They are now filled with industry experts across HEOR, Market Access, Statistics and PRO's and are entering the next phase of growth which is centred around finding quality talent in each discipline to build a first-in-class function.

We are keen to build on our successes by maintaining our cultural focus on 'quality over quantity' with the aim of building something 'truly special'.

This role is remotely based anywhere in the UK. Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, conceptualise, and build discrete numerical models of healthcare interventions to demonstrate real-world impact.
  • Act as lead on health economic modelling projects, ensuring scientific rigour and client relevance.
  • Lead a broad range of healthcare intervention projects and models simultaneously.
  • Oversee data sourcing, model protocols, and model validation, ensuring deliverables such as technical documentation meet the highest quality standards.
  • Drive innovation and best practice, contributing to internal training and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Become a trusted partner to our clients, providing consultative advice on market access challenges.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, proposals, and pitches, influencing strategic decisions
  • Support client development by identifying opportunities and driving the creation of technical health economic modelling proposals.
  • Contribute to research dissemination, including publications and conference presentations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in conceptualising, developing, and delivering mathematical and/or health economic models
  • A passion for algorithms and modelling, approaching complex challenges with curiosity and innovation
  • Strong statistical and quantitative analysis skills
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as R, SAS or Python
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex projects, acting as a key point of contact for clients
  • Excellent organisational skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience leading projects and managing milestones
  • Able to work independently, but also be a strong team player

Compensation:

£65 000 - £90 000.00 Per Annum
