Senior Health and Safety Advisor – Scotland – Hybrid – up to £65,000 + Package – ID: 11844

Principal People are working with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit a Senior Health and Safety Advisor supporting major infrastructure projects across Scotland. With multiple projects, this is an exciting role that works within a strong team of both Safety and Environmental professionals, providing a balance between strategic implementation to operational support to the advisors in the region.

The Role

  • Lead and develop a small team of advisors
  • Provide visible health and safety leadership across live infrastructure projects
  • Conduct audits, investigations, site inspections and RAMS reviews
  • Use health and safety performance data to identify trends and drive improvement
  • Challenge operational teams and senior stakeholders where required
  • Support the wider Health and Safety strategy and build strong client relationships
  • Maintain a visible presence across the project portfolio

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
