Location: Rogerstone, Newport
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7AM-3PM

About the Role
We are recruiting a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join a large, fast-paced manufacturing site in Rogerstone. Reporting directly to the Head of Safety, this is a highly visible position with significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the operation.
You will be the key Health & Safety presence on site, supporting operational teams, driving a positive safety culture, leading investigations and audits, and influencing safe working practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Health & Safety representative on site, providing practical support and guidance across all departments.
- Attend the daily operations meeting and communicate key Health & Safety priorities and issues.
- Conduct daily site inspections and walkarounds, identifying risks, engaging with stakeholders, and driving corrective actions.
- Lead and support accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
- Carry out Health & Safety audits and ensure compliance with company standards and legislative requirements.
- Deliver IOSH Managing Safely training across the site.
About You
You will be a proactive and driven Health & Safety professional who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, building strong relationships, and influencing positive change.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, confident in challenging behaviours when required, and motivated by the opportunity to help shape the future of Health & Safety within a large manufacturing environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Essential
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Previous Health & Safety experience within an operational environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive improvements

- Experience within food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced production environment
