Are you ready to take safety leadership to new heights?
At DHL Supply Chain, we're looking for an exceptional Senior Health & Safety Business Partner to play a pivotal role supporting some of our most prestigious aviation partnerships, including easyJet, Air France and SAS. This is an exciting opportunity to influence safety performance across our Ground Handling operations, partnering with major airline customers whilst shaping the future of aviation safety within a global logistics leader.

If you're passionate about aviation, thrive on building strong stakeholder relationships, and want the opportunity to make a visible impact across multiple operations, we want to hear from you.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
As Senior Health & Safety Business Partner, you will lead the aviation safety agenda across our Ground Handling operations and act as a trusted advisor to both operational leaders and our airline customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the safety strategy across our Ground Handling operations supporting easyJet, Air France and SAS.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation and safety regulations, including the development and implementation of new Ground Handling Regulations.
- Developing, enhancing and continuously improving our Safety Management System (SMS), driving standardisation and consistency across operations.
- Championing a proactive Just Safety Culture that encourages engagement, learning, continuous improvement and outstanding safety performance.
- Providing direct leadership to Health & Safety teams, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development.
- Building strong partnerships with customers, regulatory bodies and internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading incident investigations and ensuring lessons learned are embedded throughout the operation.
- Providing strategic guidance and influencing senior leaders to continually improve safety standards across the business.
- Driving best practice, innovation and operational excellence throughout the aviation portfolio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
