At Bureau Veritas, we're looking for an experienced Senior Health & Safety Consultant to join a growing, highly respected team delivering strategic health, safety, and fire safety support to a diverse portfolio of national and international clients.

The Role
As a Senior Health & Safety Consultant, you'll provide expert consultancy services to clients across the UK and Ireland, supporting them in achieving compliance while improving their overall safety performance.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality health and safety consultancy services.
- Conducting health and safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and advising on fire safety compliance.
- Supporting clients with risk assessments, safe systems of work, and management systems.
- Investigating incidents and producing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Delivering training, workshops, and safety briefings.
- Building strong client relationships and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Supporting organisations in developing positive, sustainable safety cultures.
- Advising on UK and Ireland Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Supporting ISO 45001 and wider management system implementation and improvement.
About You
We're looking for someone who is technically credible, commercially aware, and passionate about helping clients improve their health and safety performance.
Ideally, you'll have:
- NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health & Safety.
- CertIOSH as a minimum, with CMIOSH preferred.
- NEBOSH Fire Safety qualification.
- Fire Risk Assessment qualification and practical experience.
- Experience within consultancy, certification, engineering, construction, facilities management, property, infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, and compliance reviews.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to influence and challenge professionally at all levels.
