Senior Health & Safety Advisor
Location: South East London
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Package
We're supporting a leading Tier 1 contractor in the search for an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join a major infrastructure project in South East London.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role on a high-profile civil engineering scheme, working closely with project leadership to drive Health & Safety performance, influence a positive safety culture and ensure the successful delivery of complex construction works.

- Lead and support Health & Safety across a major infrastructure project.
- Provide advice and guidance to Directors, Managers and Supervisors on Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and key project stakeholders.
- Lead Health & Safety improvement initiatives and behavioural safety programmes.
- Carry out inspections, audits and assurance activities across the project.
- Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Promote continuous improvement and drive a positive Health & Safety culture.
- Support the delivery of project-specific Health & Safety objectives and compliance requirements.

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will have:
- Extensive experience within a Senior Health & Safety role on major construction or civil engineering projects.
- Ideally NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Commercial awareness and experience working within complex construction environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
