Senior Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Agency Care Home Work – Manchester
Are you an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant looking for flexible agency shifts in Manchester?
Twenty Four Seven Nursing is currently recruiting experienced Senior HCAs to work across care homes and nursing homes throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas.
We have opportunities for Senior HCAs looking for anything from occasional extra shifts to regular weekly agency work.

Your Role
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting residents and other members of the care team. Your duties may include:

- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Supporting residents with personal care and everyday activities
- Leading and supporting Healthcare Assistants during shifts
- Following individual care plans
- Completing accurate care documentation
- Supporting with medication where appropriately trained
- Maintaining residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Reporting any concerns or changes in a resident's condition
- Following safeguarding and infection prevention procedures
What You'll Need
- At least 12 months' UK Senior Healthcare Assistant experience
- Previous UK care home or nursing home experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is highly desirable
- DBS or willingness to complete a new check
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- Flexibility to work across different care settings
