Senior Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Bradford, West Yorkshire – Up to £17.00 per hour
About the Company
Twenty Four Seven Nursing is hiring experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants (Senior HCAs) for flexible, well-paid agency work across Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire area. Whether you're looking for regular weekly hours, extra shifts alongside another role, or more flexibility around your current commitments, we'll work around your availability — with shifts available across residential care homes, nursing homes and other healthcare services.

About the Role
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, while working alongside permanent and agency care teams and helping to guide junior colleagues. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Providing person-centred care while maintaining residents' dignity and independence
- Supporting, mentoring and guiding junior Healthcare Assistants and Care Assistants
- Completing and maintaining accurate, up-to-date care records
- Assisting with medication administration where trained and authorised
- Communicating effectively with residents, families and other healthcare professionals
- Following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 12 months' UK experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant, Senior Care Assistant or Senior Carer
- Previous experience within a care home, nursing home or similar healthcare setting
- An NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is highly desirable
- A valid, up-to-date DBS check, or willingness to complete one
- Good communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to support junior staff
- A caring, reliable and professional approach to work
- Flexibility to work across different services in Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire area
- The right to work in the UK
