Senior Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Agency Work – Leeds, West Yorkshire
Are you an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant looking for flexible agency work across Leeds and the surrounding areas?
Twenty Four Seven Nursing is looking for reliable and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our team, with opportunities to work across a range of healthcare settings including care homes, nursing homes and other healthcare services. Whether you're looking for regular weekly hours, additional shifts alongside another role or more flexibility around your current commitments, we can work around your availability.

About the Role
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents while working alongside permanent and agency care teams. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living
- Providing person-centred care while maintaining dignity and independence
- Supporting and guiding junior Healthcare Assistants
- Completing and maintaining accurate care records
- Assisting with medication where trained and authorised
- Communicating effectively with residents, families and other healthcare professionals
- Following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
What We're Looking For
To apply, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months' UK experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant
- Previous experience within a care home or nursing home environment
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care are highly desirable
- A valid DBS check or willingness to complete one
- Good communication and leadership skills
- A caring, reliable and professional approach
- Flexibility to work across different services
