Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Support worker within the Surgical Suite Day Case Unit
The Surgical Suite encompasses day case, elective general surgery, cataracts, oculoplastics, dentals, gynaecology, recovery, and endoscopy.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide an efficient and high-quality day case service.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within various specialities in a Rural General Hospital. The successful applicant will be a good team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in this field of nursing.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience within a ward care setting is desirable.
- The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to increase their clinical skills to be able to provide and promote high standards of patient care.
We would welcome applications from Band 3 or Band 2 HCSW who have evidence of SCQF level 6 or equivalent training or experience who are seeking to build a career pathway in day case nursing.

- This is a full-time 36-hour post, working Monday to Friday, shifts subject to service requirements.
- Job share/part-time hours would be considered.
Location
Caithness is a beautiful County situated in the far North of Scotland offering an excellent lifestyle choice. There is affordable housing, newly built schools, and recreational facilities.
