As accredited MCS installers, the company also provides MCS Umbrella Scheme services to other heating businesses, offering guidance and oversight to simplify heat pump installation projects.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Heating Engineer role working in the Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and North Wales areas. The Engineer will install, commission, and maintain heat pump systems, including associated controls and components. Daily tasks include installation of heating and hot water systems, first and second fix for new build and large renovation projects, Underfloor heating system and air and ground source heat pump installations. The Heating Engineer will also interact with customers, providing clear explanations of work carried out and supporting a positive service experience and dealing with any onsite requests or requirements.

Qualifications/Experience
- Strong technical skills in central heating systems, we would love you to understand all heating system types and how to adapt and optimise them for the installation.
- Solid plumbing skills, covering pipework, fittings, and integration with heating and hot water systems.
- Experience in high end new build/renovation projects
- Be self sufficient with the ability to manage a project and colleagues.
- Good customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ/SVQ in Plumbing and Heating, Level 3 heat pump qualifications, G3 qualifications, or equivalent where applicable).
- Knowledge and a keen interest in renewable heating technologies such as heat pumps, MVHR, Air conditioning and related systems.
- Ability to work safely, follow procedures, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
- Valid clean driving license and readiness to travel to local sites as required.
- A minimum of 3 years installing heat pump systems.
- Experience with Vaillant, Samsung and Grant UK heat pumps is a bonus.

- Salary between £45,000 - £50,000 per year (for engineers with good experience)
