About the role

Ghost Enterprises is looking for a Senior Helpdesk Engineer to join our IT support team as a key escalation point, both for our internal team and for the customers we support. You'll handle the technical issues that don't get solved at first line, with deep hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint migrations, plus a strong grounding in cyber security best practice. You're equally comfortable running with a problem solo or pairing up with the team to close it out.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the senior escalation point for complex tickets raised by both customers and junior engineers, owning issues through to resolution
  • Leading and supporting SharePoint migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration troubleshooting
  • Managing and maintaining Azure and Microsoft 365 (O365) environments — configuration, administration, and issue resolution
  • Applying cyber security best practice across client environments, identifying risks and recommending remediations
  • Using Datto RMM and Autotask to monitor, manage, and document client systems and support tickets
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers, sharing knowledge to raise the team's overall technical capability
  • Communicating directly and confidently with customers, translating technical issues into clear, non-technical explanations
  • Working independently to prioritise and manage your own workload, while collaborating closely with the wider team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
