Senior Host / Receptionist - Canary Wharf, Big Easy

Big Easy opened its first restaurant on King's Road and quickly became known for its Southern-inspired BBQ, fresh lobster, and vibrant live music atmosphere. Over the years, we have built a loyal following and expanded across London, while staying true to what makes us different: generous hospitality, bold flavours and a buzzing bar culture.
We are proud of our history and excited about our future.
We are now looking for a Senior Host / Receptionist to lead the front door experience at our Canary Wharf site and support the team in delivering outstanding guest service from the moment guests arrive.

Who We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a host or reception role, ideally in a high-volume restaurant
- Confident, friendly and highly organised
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Comfortable managing bookings and guest flow during busy service
- Experience with reservation systems (OpenTable or similar preferred)
- A natural leader who can support and guide junior hosts
We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating a strong first impression and enjoys building guest relationships.
What You Will Do
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations and optimise table planning
- Coordinate guest flow to ensure smooth service
- Lead the reception team during busy shifts
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues confidently
- Work closely with management and the floor team
- Maintain high standards at the front of house at all times
