Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: £60,000–£80,000 DOE
Position: Full-Time, Daily Live-Out
Contract: Self-Employed (contracted through Bespoke Bureau)
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Housekeeper for a prestigious UHNW private residence in the heart of Mayfair.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced private household professional who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping while confidently overseeing the day-to-day presentation and upkeep of an elegant London residence.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the property is maintained to an impeccable standard at all times. The role is predominantly hands-on housekeeping, with an additional element of light house management, including liaising with contractors and suppliers, reporting maintenance issues, and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the residence.
The principals use the London property for approximately 90 days each year. During these periods, flexibility is required to accommodate the family's schedule, while the remainder of the year follows a more standard working pattern.
Additional part-time housekeeping support is provided during busier periods.
Key Responsibilities
- High-level housekeeping throughout the residence
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Maintaining exceptional presentation throughout the property
- Caring for fine furnishings, antiques, and delicate surfaces
- Monitoring household supplies and inventories
- Liaising with contractors, maintenance companies, and household suppliers
- Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring they are resolved promptly
- Assisting with the overall organisation and smooth running of the residence
- Preparing the property before family arrivals and maintaining standards throughout their stay
- Working with complete discretion and professionalism at all times

Working Hours
When the family are not in residence:
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 8:00am – 4:00pm
When the family are in residence (approximately 90 days per year):
- Flexibility is required, including longer working days and weekend coverage.
- During these periods, working hours may increase depending on the family's requirements.
Requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Housekeeper within UHNW private households
- Outstanding housekeeping, laundry, and wardrobe management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Experience liaising with contractors and external suppliers
- A proactive, hands-on approach
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Absolute discretion, professionalism, and loyalty
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility during the family's periods of residence

Additional Information
- Daily live-out position
- Self-employed contract through Bespoke Bureau
- Paid weekly or monthly through the agency
- Driving license not required
Only candidates with substantial senior-level private household experience will be considered.
Applicants must already be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK.
