With access to one of the richest property datasets in the industry, our mission is to deepen understanding of the housing market by uncovering emerging trends, forecasting market movements and providing a trusted source of insight across the Group. We support Connells Group and Hamptons with research tailored to their audiences, while drawing on the scale, expertise and evidence of one joined-up team. We are a voice for both brands, sharing independent, authoritative insight with customers, colleagues, industry leaders and the press.

Role Overview

As Senior Analyst, you’ll play a central role in unlocking the value of our unique proprietary data and shaping research-led communications for Connells Group and Hamptons. You’ll lead analysis, contribute to internal and external presentations, act as a spokesperson and mentor junior team members - all while translating complex housing trends into clear, valuable insight for different audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Insight & Market Commentary

  • Deliver regular market updates and strategic insight for stakeholders across Connells Group and Hamptons, as well as media audiences.
  • Act as a spokesperson, providing commentary on housing trends, policy changes and macroeconomic developments.
  • Work alongside the Public Affairs team to develop policy-led briefings, producing robust evidence and analysis that helps inform and influence policy discussions.
  • Support the Group Marketing team with research-led content for customer communications, campaigns and PR.

Data Analysis & Research

  • Analyse proprietary and public datasets to uncover emerging housing market trends.
  • Manage and develop new data models that reveal new patterns and insights in the housing market.
  • Develop original research and bespoke analysis, adapting outputs for internal, customer, media and industry audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Group Data and Marketing teams to ensure consistency and credibility across all insight outputs.

Communication & Engagement

  • Contribute to press releases, reports, blogs, and customer emails to amplify research impact.
  • Present findings at internal briefings, media engagements and industry events.
  • Help shape Connells Group’s media strategy by working closely with PR professionals and external agencies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and support the Graduate Research Analyst, fostering analytical and communication skills.
  • Champion a collaborative, data-driven culture within the research team and across the wider business.

What We’re Looking For

  • A curious, commercially minded approach with a passion for turning data into compelling insight.
  • 4+ years’ experience in housing market analysis, economics, or public policy - ideally with PR-facing or media experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex trends for diverse audiences.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Fabric, are preferable.
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and external audiences.
  • A degree in economics, data science, politics, or a related field is preferred.
