About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated individual to join our friendly team in Grimsby, Lincolnshire as a Senior Housing Support Worker.
Our service provides housing-related support to people with a range of support needs, including mental health, learning disabilities, substance misuse, ex-offenders, and people experiencing homelessness and financial struggles.
As a Senior Housing Support Worker, you will have a varied role, from collaborating with other senior staff to lead a team, to providing person-centered practical and emotional support to people with a variety of support needs.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Hold a caseload of people that you support, providing individualized, outcome-focused practical & emotional support.
- Work in line with support plans to help people succeed in areas such as: tenancy support, work readiness, community integration, independent living skills, financial management, health & wellbeing.
- Oversee other support workers’ cases, ensuring positive outcomes, reasonable timelines, and contract requirements are met.
- Support senior staff in planning and delivering smooth service operations (such as staff supervisions, rota planning, carrying out assessments & devising support plans)

Essential Requirements
- A clean, valid UK driving license with access to a car.
- Supervisory experience
- Experience supporting people with housing-related support needs.
Job Details
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). Hours are to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
