Our HR Services Team
Our HR Services Team is responsible for delivering a high-quality administration service that supports colleagues throughout their employment journey. The team plays a key role in ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with legislation, policy, and best practice.
About the role
We have a new opportunity for an Senior HR Administrator to join our Oldham team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Reporting into the HR Operations Team Manager, you will provide a comprehensive HR administration service, supporting colleagues and managers across the employee lifecycle whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation and Guinness policies and procedures.
As a Senior HR Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing effective and timely support through our Helpdesk. You will act as a key connector within the HR Services Team, ensuring colleagues are signposted to the appropriate teams and services whilst maintaining a positive customer experience.

You will undertake a range of end-to-end employee lifecycle administration processes, managing compliance checks, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring data is handled securely and confidentially. You will use HR systems to support colleagues and deliver efficient administration processes, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
- Experience of undertaking a broad range of administrative tasks.
- Experience of working within a customer service environment.
- Experience of working to deadlines and managing competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
