Using your ER expertise, commercial awareness, and data-led insight, you will identify trends, mitigate risk, and support proactive people solutions that strengthen employee engagement, enable effective decision-making, and help our teams perform at their best.

Although this role does not include direct line management responsibility, you will provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and oversight to support consistency and quality across the team.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate ER activity across the business, overseeing the effective allocation, prioritisation, and monitoring of cases across the HR Advisory team.
  • Provide specialist advice and support on complex, sensitive, and high-risk ER matters, ensuring appropriate escalation and external legal advice where required.
  • Coach and guide HR Advisors and line managers to strengthen fair decision-making and promote consistent application of HR policies and employment legislation.
  • Assess complex people matters with strong commercial awareness, evaluating the potential impact and risk to the business while balancing employee experience, operational needs, and legal requirements.
  • Analyse ER data, case trends, and recurring themes to identify risks, recommend proactive interventions, and improve employee relations outcomes.
  • Support organisational change activity, including consultation, restructures, redundancy, redeployment, and TUPE-related processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
