We’re looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a professional services organisation in Southampton on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a varied, hands-on HR opportunity where you’ll take ownership of complex employee relations matters, provide trusted advice to managers and employees, and use your employment law expertise to support effective people decisions.

You’ll receive a salary of £50,000, with the added incentive of a up to £5,000 contract completion bonus on successful completion of the 12-month contract.

About the candidate

You’ll be an experienced HR professional who is confident managing complex and sensitive ER matters from start to finish. A background within legal or professional services is essential, alongside strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
