Senior HR Business Partner
This is a broad Senior HR Business Partner role offering the opportunity to act as a trusted adviser to leaders across the business, providing expert support on employee relations, performance management, organisational change, and people development. The role combines hands-on operational HR with strategic project work, whilst coaching managers, influencing stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of the wider people agenda.

Description
- Act as a trusted HR partner, providing expert advice and guidance to managers across a broad range of people matters.
- Support the delivery of business objectives through effective HR business partnering and practical people solutions.
- Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring commercially focused and legally compliant outcomes.
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in managing performance, engagement, and employee issues.
- Design and deliver training and development initiatives to strengthen leadership and management capability.
- Support organisational change, restructuring activities, and wider business transformation projects.
- Contribute to the delivery of the HR Business Plan and key people initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive a positive and high-performing culture.
- Mentor and support junior members of the HR team, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Utilise HR systems and data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Travel to other business locations as required.

Profile
- CIPD qualified HR professional with a strong generalist HR background.
- Proven experience operating in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, ideally within Financial Services or another regulated sector.
- Strong employee relations expertise, with the ability to manage complex and sensitive cases independently.
- Demonstrable experience across the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, performance management, talent development, and organisational change.
- Excellent coaching and influencing skills, with a track record of building management capability and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded and pragmatic, able to balance business needs with employee experience and risk management.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively within a wider HR team.
- Experience mentoring or developing junior HR colleagues.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident using HR systems and data to support decision-making, with Workday experience highly desirable.
- Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
