Senior HR Advisor | Food Manufacturing | North Lincolnshire - Office Based | Up to £41K plus benefits
Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and market-leading organisation within the food manufacturing sector to recruit an experienced Senior HR Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy operational HR team, where you'll play a key role in delivering a proactive and commercially focused HR service across a large site. This position offers a varied generalist remit with a strong emphasis on employee relations, supporting managers throughout the employee lifecycle while contributing to wider people initiatives and business objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll work closely with site leadership to provide practical HR support, ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policy, and help drive a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance and appeal processes.
- Support absence management cases, working closely with Occupational Health where appropriate.
- Assist with organisational change and restructuring activities.
- Partner with managers to manage headcount planning and recruitment requirements.
- Support the onboarding and integration of new employees.
- Liaise with shared service HR teams to ensure efficient delivery of HR processes.
- Coach and support managers with performance management, development reviews and regular one-to-one meetings.
- Identify training needs and work alongside management to coordinate learning and development initiatives.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate people data is submitted within required deadlines.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

About You
We're looking for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and is passionate about building strong relationships across the business.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering role with strong employee relations exposure.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or currently studying towards it).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, organised and resilient approach.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
