Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for a role where you can genuinely influence people, culture and employee relations within a large, fast-paced organisation?
We are recruiting on behalf of a major global agriculture, food production and manufacturing group for an HR Advisor to join a close-knit and supportive HR team.
This is a broad, hands-on generalist role offering excellent exposure across employee relations, absence management, recruitment, training, HR systems and policy implementation, with strong opportunities for ongoing development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across capability, conduct, grievance and other employee relations matters
- Supporting managers with absence management, sickness cases and absence reduction strategies
- Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring HR systems are kept fully up to date
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and wider talent activity
- Coordinating and monitoring training compliance across legal, technical and health & safety requirements
- Supporting employee development and wider learning initiatives
- Promoting diversity, inclusion and positive workplace culture
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and people initiatives

We’re keen to speak with HR professionals who have solid generalist experience and are comfortable operating in a busy operational environment.
You Will Ideally Have
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor, HR Officer, HR Generalist or Employee Relations Advisor
- Strong employee relations experience
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience supporting absence, disciplinary, grievance and capability cases
- CIPD qualification or be working towards one
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence working with managers at all levels
- Experience within food manufacturing, food production, agriculture, FMCG, engineering or manufacturing would be highly desirable
