Job Opportunity
Full time (36 hrs) with 12 hours permanent and 24 hours as fixed term for two years
An opportunity has arisen to join our team for a Senior HR Advisor. You will provide a professional and comprehensive generalist Human Resources service to managers, staff, and staff side representatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support across a range of complex issues such as employee relations, terms and conditions of service, employment legislation.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures which meet best practice, current legislation, and national policies.
- Support the wider team in the delivery of policy training programmes.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification (CIPD or equivalent).
- Significant practical HR experience within a large organisation, preferably gained within the public sector.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, terms and conditions of service relevant to the range of NHS staff and NHS Scotland Policies.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, planning and organising your own workload.
- Excellent communication, influencing, project, and people management skills.
- A creative approach to problem-solving.

Working in the UK

For specific types of post, if you do not have the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, it might be possible (though not guaranteed) to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa. However, this is only possible if the employer is a licensed Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or ‘going rate’.
