Join SPEAR and Help End Homelessness

At SPEAR, we believe homelessness should be rare, brief and non-recurring. Every day, our dedicated teams support people experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives through outreach, accommodation, tenancy support and person-centred services.

We're looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our People Team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service while supporting managers, leading on complex employee relations cases and contributing to strategic HR projects across the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Director, you'll be the trusted HR partner for managers across the organisation, providing practical, commercially focused and legally compliant HR advice throughout the employee lifecycle.

Working within a small, collaborative HR team, you'll influence good people management practices, lead on complex employee relations matters, contribute to organisational change projects and help continuously improve our HR policies, processes and services. You'll also deputise for the HR Director where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
