Job Title: Senior HR Advisor
Our client, a homeless charity based in Twickenham, is currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to cover a sabbatical leave for an initial 6-month FTC.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the HR Director, the purpose of this role is to provide a proactive, professional, and solutions-focused generalist HR service across the organisation. The position will lead on a range of HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR practices and processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice, guidance, and support to managers and employees across the full range of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and best practice.
- Support the HR Director in developing, implementing, and reviewing HR policies, procedures, and guidance to ensure compliance with employment legislation, ACAS guidance, and best practice.
- Work collaboratively with the Recruitment and Resourcing Assistant to provide HR advice throughout the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organisational policy, and safer recruitment principles.
- Work in partnership with the Learning and Development Advisor to identify management development needs arising from employee relations trends, organisational change, and workforce planning.

About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent knowledge and experience).
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
- Good understanding of HR best practice across the employee lifecycle.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong employee relations experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
- A calm, consistent, and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to advise and support colleagues at all levels.
