Senior HR Business Partner

This Senior HR Business Partner role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior leaders across a multi-site education organisation, providing strategic HR guidance and leading on complex employee relations matters. You'll play a key role in organisational change, workforce planning, leadership development and the delivery of impactful people initiatives.

We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to play a key role in supporting senior leaders across a multi-site organisation. Working as part of a high-performing HR team, you will provide strategic and operational HR expertise, helping to shape workforce plans, drive organisational change and deliver an outstanding employee experience.

Description

As a trusted partner to senior leadership teams, you will lead on a wide range of people initiatives while providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters. You will also contribute to organisational transformation projects, support workforce planning and help develop leadership capability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Partnering with senior leaders to align people strategies with organisational objectives
  • Leading and managing complex employee relations and casework matters
  • Supporting organisational change, transformation and workforce planning initiatives
  • Managing and developing one direct report
  • Coaching and influencing leaders to enhance people management capability
  • Using people data and insights to drive continuous improvement and employee engagement
  • Supporting talent attraction, retention and succession planning initiatives

Profile

You'll be a commercially minded HR professional with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior leadership level.

You'll Bring

  • Significant HR Business Partnering or senior HR leadership experience
  • Experience managing and developing team members
  • Strong expertise in complex employee relations and conflict resolution
  • A proven track record of supporting organisational change and transformation
  • Experience coaching senior leaders and improving leadership capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • CIPD qualification (Level 7 desirable) or equivalent experience

Job Offer

  • Salary up to £61,000 depending on experience
  • Base office is in Coventry
  • Mileage/travel expenses reimbursed for travel to other sites
  • 5 days per week on-site during probation, reducing to 4 days per week thereafter (with one office day required during school holidays)
