L3Harris in Tewkesbury is part of our Global Spectrum Superiority (GS2) division. In the land domain, our T7 and T4 multi-mission robots deliver next-generation remote capabilities and uncompromised performance. We design and manufacture world-leading land force protection systems, cyber and electromagnetic activities (CEMA), electronic warfare (EW) and encryption capabilities. Our cyber capabilities provide an information advantage in the fields of kinetic conflict, cyber warfare, force protection and counterterrorism.
L3Harris is seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) who will support and provide guidance, counsel and HR expertise directly to employees and leaders. In this role, the Senior HR Business Partner will translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives, leading talent management, leadership development programs, and organisational effectiveness efforts. This role collaborates across HR and the business to deliver solutions, using workforce insights to inform decisions, while directly supporting managers and employees on performance and employee relations.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Partner with HR Director to execute HR strategies aligned to enterprise priorities
- Act as the primary day-to-day HR contact for frontline employees, providing guidance on HR processes, policies, and standard practices
- Directly support site leaders and employees, and partner with other business leaders, HRBPs, and Center of Excellence to implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve organisational capability
- Utilise trends and analytics to provide proactive recommendations and propose solutions to enable sound talent divisions and initiatives
- Identify and diagnose issues to develop, recommend, and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience
- Build and utilise relationships with functional HRBPs to influence business priorities within the functions
- Responsible for leading end-to-end talent management processes for site leadership, including workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and compensation
- Manage projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function
- Provides change management leadership

What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Degree qualified with substantial previous related experience/CIPD qualified/HR qualification.
- Experience working as an HR Business Partner with increasing scope and responsibility, supporting various levels within the organisation, preferably within a matrix and government contracting environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills
- Possesses a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality with an eye for attention to detail
- Knowledge of HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SuccessFactors
