Senior HR Business Partner

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the business through an exciting period of transformation, helping to embed a high performance culture while ensuring our employee owned values remain central to how we operate. The role will have a strong focus on partnering with leaders to embed and continually strengthen key people practices across performance management, employee relations, talent development and organisational effectiveness, within an employee owned business. You will play a critical role in translating the people agenda into day to day behaviours, ensuring these approaches are consistently adopted across the business.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will act as a trusted partner to leaders across the business, providing pragmatic and commercially focused people advice that supports both employee engagement and business performance. You will help drive accountability, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure our people practices attract, develop and retain talent.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on site.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leaders to embed the People Strategy across the business, ensuring people practices are consistently implemented and aligned to culture, fostering the healthy culture of an employee owned business
  • Act as a trusted advisor on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, providing coaching and practical support to improve performance, development, engagement and wellbeing
  • Lead employee relations case management and employee queries, ensuring a consistent, fair and commercially pragmatic approach aligned to policy and best practice
  • Support the rollout and embedding of the performance management framework, working with managers to drive meaningful performance conversations, objective setting, feedback and development planning
  • Contribute to workforce planning activities, working with leaders to identify capability gaps, future resourcing needs and support recruitment planning
  • Develop initiatives to strengthen employee ownership through employee engagement, experience and wellbeing, ensuring actions are implemented and impact is monitored and fed back
  • Support the implementation of people policies by ensuring they are understood, applied consistently and embedded effectively
  • Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives, helping to build capability and ensure uptake and application within teams
  • Provide input into reward and remuneration processes, supporting data collection, benchmarking activity and the annual pay review cycle
  • Develop strong, credible relationships with managers and employees, role-modelling company values and contributing to a high-performance, accountable and inclusive culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
