Location: Plymouth– Hybrid working, 3 days on-site per week
Rate: DOE £35–£40 per hour Via Umbrella
Contract: Six months; subject to extension
Start: ASAP
Must be eligible for SC clearance

The Opportunity
We are recruiting exclusively for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join an established organisation operating within a highly regulated industry.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to deliver both strategic and operational people initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver the organisation’s people strategy
- Lead strategic workforce planning, ensuring the business has the skills and capability required for future growth
- Develop and implement effective talent retention and succession-planning initiatives
- Support talent acquisition activity for business-critical and specialist positions
- Provide guidance on organisational design, restructuring and workforce change
- Use workforce data and HR insights to identify trends and inform decision-making
- Coach and advise managers on complex employee relations and performance matters
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and relevant regulatory requirements
- Support wider change, engagement and continuous-improvement programmes
- Build strong relationships across HR, leadership and operational teams

Skills And Experience

- Substantial experience operating as a Senior HR Business Partner or in a comparable position
- A strong background within a regulated or compliance-led industry
- Demonstrable experience in strategic workforce planning, talent retention and talent acquisition
- Confidence partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience managing complex organisational change and sensitive employee matters
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification, or equivalent experience
- Available to start at short notice and attend the site 3 days per week
Desirable
- Have SC clearance or Defence/ Engineering experience
