As Senior HR Controller (d/f/m) you will be part of the Management Support Functions & HR Controlling team in the fast growing Offshore Wind Business. The team is responsible for HR Controlling especially HR planning and reporting for the whole Offshore organization. Furthermore, the team contributes to ensure that the Offshore Wind Management Support Functions achieve their financial targets in an international business environment.

About the role

  • Be the HR Controlling Business Partner for Senior Management (Directors)
  • Coordinate, perform and optimize autonomously the HR mid-term planning and forecasting processes globally across teams, legal entities and countries in collaboration with HR and further develop the process to consolidate the data
  • Review, evaluate, comment and challenge planning data provided by the respective departments for the mid-term plan, forecasting and budgeting process
  • Monitor and analyze personnel cost developments and provide transparency about the actual cost development against budget, mid to long-term financial targets and benchmarks e.g. via position plan
  • Create high quality management reports, presentations and ad-hoc analysis for senior management. The presentation of the key results on top management level is also part of your role
  • Maintain and further develop cost controlling governance, a comprehensive profit/cost center framework and increased accuracy of cost allocations
  • Consolidate the Human Resource data and commentary for quarterly actual reporting, forecasting and planning
  • Another various task is the further improvement of the quality and digitalization of HR management reporting & tools, Controlling processes as well as the IT landscape
  • You take responsibility in special projects like IT optimizations, reorganizations or strategic planning by contributing with your HR controlling expertise. In general, you act as an interface to different stakeholders in Human Resources, Controlling and Business Functions on different HR controlling topics

Your profile

  • You have completed your university degree in business administration, economics or a comparable course of study, ideally with focus on Controlling, HR or Finance, with very good results
  • Moreover, you score points with several years of relevant working experience and demonstrable success in Controlling - preferably HR Controlling -, HR related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits and equal opportunity compliance as well as Finance
  • Your comprehensive business knowledge covers the energy industry and IT. In this context, you have a clear desire to expand your knowledge
  • Using your very good Microsoft office skills (esp. Excel and PowerPoint) as well as your advanced knowledge in working with SAP (HR and CO module, SAP BW) and information management systems in daily business is self-evident for you
  • You are proficient with or alternatively have the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software
  • Your team working skills can be described as excellent. You are willing to work in a motivating team environment
  • We can count on your very good numerical as well as analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate extensive data and information in a structured manner including dealing with complex transactions/commercial issues
  • Furthermore, you convince us with your high personal credibility and ability to interact trustfully and effectively in an international environment with stakeholders on all levels. By doing so, you enjoy using your fluent English skills – both written and spoken
