This is a rare opportunity for an experienced HR leader to join a large manufacturing organisation and shape the people and culture agenda during a significant period of organisational transformation. About the Organisation
Our client is a well-established international organisation with a significant UK presence and a strong reputation for excellence. With a sizeable workforce, an engaged leadership team and ambitious plans for growth, the organisation is seeking a people-centred leader who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, leading through change and creating high-performing cultures.
The role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead the HR agenda across the UK, including a major operational manufacturing site, guiding the organisation through a period of significant change while ensuring employee engagement, organisational performance and business continuity remain at the forefront.

This role extends well beyond traditional HR leadership. You will be instrumental in building local capability, shaping future people strategy and establishing the frameworks required to support the site. The role will also work in close partnership with European stakeholders.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Leading the people strategy through a major organisational transition.
- Partnering with senior operational leaders to drive business performance.
- Trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team on all people related matters.
- Supporting the creation of an HR function and organisational culture equipped for long-term success.
- Building and embedding HR infrastructure and processes to support increased autonomy.
- Ensuring robust employee relations, compliance and workforce governance.
- Supporting the development of a high-performance culture aligned to future business objectives.
- Lead a small and experienced team to the next phase of their own personal development.

You will bring:
- Significant senior HR leadership experience within a large-scale manufacturing setting.
- Strong employee relations and industrial relations expertise.
- Demonstrable success leading business transformation, restructuring or organisational change programmes.
- Experience operating within complex stakeholder environments and influencing senior leaders.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
- Commercial acumen and a strong understanding of the relationship between people strategy and business performance.
- Resilience, pragmatism and the confidence to lead through ambiguity and change.
