Forward Role are partnering with a large organisation looking to appoint a Senior HR Shared Services Manager to lead and evolve a high-performing HR Services function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Operations or Shared Services leader to shape service delivery, optimise systems and processes, and play a key role in supporting the wider people strategy.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of HR Shared Services, you'll be responsible for leading a transactional HR Shared Service. You'll drive operational excellence, ensure compliance and governance standards are maintained, and deliver a first-class service across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of HR Shared Services professionals to deliver a best-in-class service.
- Driving continuous improvement, automation and service transformation initiatives.
- Ensuring robust governance, compliance and risk management across HR operations.
- Optimising HR systems, data integrity and reporting capabilities to support business decision-making.
- Building strong relationships across HR and the wider business, acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders.
- Using data and insight to drive performance, influence decision-making and improve colleague experience.

About You
We're looking for an experienced HR Services, HR Operations or Shared Services leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading HR Operations, HR Services or Shared Services teams.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR processes and GDPR requirements.
- Experience improving HR operating models, processes and controls.
- A track record of delivering change, transformation and automation initiatives.
- Strong HR systems and data reporting expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership and influencing skills.
