Senior HSE Advisor – Trainee Position

About the Role
Job Title & Type
- Senior HSE Advisor (Trainee Position) – Permanent
- Location: Ellesmere Port, 1 day per week working from home (Regular travel required)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Salary: Competitive package, including:

Key Responsibilities
This role is designed to provide hands-on experience within a structured QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Security) Business Partnering team, with mentorship, training, and a clear progression pathway into a full Business Partner role at a global company known for quality and integrity.

Key Development Areas (Supported by Experienced QHSSE Team):
- Conducting site visits, inspections, and audits
- Supporting operational teams with risk assessments, safe working practices, and compliance
- Assisting in incident investigations and improvement plans
- Building relationships with key stakeholders across multiple operational sites
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and HSE culture development

Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent certification)
- Proven experience in safety, quality, or environmental industry roles
- Exposure to incident management, accident investigations, and reporting
- Experience in stakeholder management (internal and/or external)

- Hase a solid foundation in HSE/Q and is ready to advance their career
- Hands-on mindset with enthusiasm for rapid skill development
